Anke Odrig is the initiator and managing director of LITTLE BIRD GmbH.

„As a young mother, I experienced myself how difficult it is to find a childcare place. At the time, I applied to many institutions and ended up on many waiting lists. I was put off everywhere and was supposed to get in contact again sometime later on. For me and my employer at that time, this was an unpredictable and uncertain situation. I was astonished that in this day and age, there was still no opportunity to obtain consolidated information, simply to be able to communicate and to plan re-entering your occupation in good time.“

The story of the LITTLE BIRD founder has rare value: Almost 90 percent of startups driven by technical innovations are founded by men – only 13 percent of the founders are women.

Her ten years of professional experience, her knowledge of various methods for the analysis of processes and systematic interaction with the situation and those concerned, ultimately encouraged her to found LITTLE BIRD GmbH in 2009.

The seamless process, which has been thought through in detail, is to be transferred to more and more of the issues of childhood, such as school registration, holiday care, emergency care, etc.
